Contortion & Flexibility with Hannah Finn
Monday 26th February, 12pm - 2pm (Suitable all levels) £30 for 2h This workshop is suitable for all levels. Learn the foundations of Contortion. This workshop goes back to the much needed basics; Introducing you to the art of contortion training with safe and proper form, alignment and technique. Students will learn solo and partner stretches to increase flexibility, learn how to have awareness of the whole spine, lengthening, strengthening and bending in each part of the spine, utilise specific exercises using both passive and active flexibility as well as the use of PNF techniques and develop a key body awareness while bending. Do not worry if you are just starting, Hannah will share with you her knowledge and experience about to safely and successfully stretch to reach your flexibility and contortion goals. This workshop covers a multitude of vital topics including: 🌟The mind body connection (why and how to use it in contortion to control and get the most flexibility out of your backbends.) *Studies from Neuroscience used to help students utilize and understand the importance of this connection. 🌟Common mistakes and pitfalls for people trying to increase their flexibility and how to avoid that 🌟Special tips and ‘hacks’ to quickly, safely and correctly increase your flexibility 🌟Hannah's specialized ‘three parts of the back’ technique to help you find the flexibility that you didn’t know you had and then teach you how to increase that flexibility. |

Renee's Favourite Tricks
Monday 26th February, 2pm - 3.30pm (Inter and above) £18 for 1.5h In this special workshop, Renee will share some of her favourite pole tricks with you. Come and learn the tips & techniques behind elegant tricks in Renee's signature style, a marriage of beauty and strength. Tricks can be adjusted for your level as Renee will teach you the progression of movements to condition for the tricks. You must be able to invert and descend safely to attend this workshop. Pole Art with Renee Monday 26th February, 3.30pm - 5pm (Suitable for all levels) £18 for 1.5h Express your emotions through movement! In this unique Pole Art class, Renee will teach you dance technique and transitions, with emphasis on lyrical execution. You're going to be able to create your own choreography instead of just putting tricks one after the other. In Pole Art, we will focus on toe pointe, and beautiful arm and leg positions. Please bring leggings, leg warmers and knee pads in order to dance and move comfortable. |
Exotique with Lauren Elise Thursday 1st March, 12.30pm - 2pm (Suitable all levels) £20 for 1.5h Come and learn some of Lauren’s original, unique choreography. Dynamic and fluid, but with an urban edge, this choreography will keep you on your toes (literally). The routine will challenge you mentally to think about musicality - interpretation of the music is integral to Lauren’s style - and physically with unusual transitions and accents. Kneepads, long socks or legwarmers are necessary. Heels are required (Pleasers or similar styles recommended) * Suitable for all levels |
